Dashiki Johnson originated from two soulbrothers who found each other by playing in a rock band together… hum where have I heard that story before. Soon the urge to create electronic music became clear as they are the progeny of old school beats and experienced the growth of that great new generation beat repeaters while they were hitting the decks at local pubs and festivals. Soon a guy with drumsticks joined the dashiki team to make the beats more alive on the scene, our personal living drumcomputer. All this is supported by videoartist and VJ guru Flashy Pete.
